Cleanish subway

This week the TV news reported on the impact of subway cleaners laid-off to save the MTA millions: subway cars are dirtier. Duh. But I found myself riding an R Train that was clean, odorless, and unobjectionable, other than being slow.

      The funny thing about subways is that they are either really jam-packed or hardly crowded at all. This was after rush hour, in the AM.
