This is Cornelia Parker’s “Thirty Pieces of Silver (exhaled)”, silver plated items crushed by an industrial press, seen at the Frieze Art Fair on Randall’s Island over the weekend. The fair was four days of contemporary art shown by 180 dealers in a gigantic tent. The art was uneven, but interesting overall, and the people watching was excellent.
