The young woman was neither loud nor assertive, so she had to wait until the cabs were stuck at a red light then walk in front of them to hail one. There were many available, so she got a ride quickly. (Also note the old painted sign on the building on the left.)
He’s thinking about it, anyway. I was at a red light and this cyclist stayed in the same spot, without moving, for the whole time I was nearby. There was a full moon this week and lots of low air pressure and gray clouds – everyone’s a little off.
I was standing in the vestibule at Banana Republic swapping out my camera battery and watching the passers-by and the cabs behind them. Across the street, work has just begun on St. Pat’s – after over a hundred and thirty years, the cathedral needs structural work.
