For the rest of us, there are simple pleasures, like the Nuts 4 Nuts vendor. The name is perfect and the nuts smell so good I don’t feel compelled to buy any.

There’s no measurement of culture consumed to justify expenditures, but maybe there should be: two hours in a museum equals a piece of clothing; three hours on the Circle Line equals a pair of shoes. If rain starts coming down during an outdoor activity…JACKPOT! Spend even more on the shoes!
